Funny that Andy has a positive ROI for the ENTIRE inner meet, and the guy chooses an example of a losing pick to write about. How often does a public capper nail a meet? That should be news in and of itself.

I'm just glad people are noticing us....and even moreso in a generally positive way. In an industry that is, more and more, being ignored by the press, getting an article like this in the NY Post is an honor.
In a related note, I got a call from a guy today who was giving me a hard time because I said I didn't like the Kiaran McLaughlin horse that won the 3rd race ( I did pick it second ). I told him that of course I pick a lot more losers than winners, but overall I've done OK, and asked him if I was such a moron how come I had a positive ROI on my top selections for the Aqueduct meet. He told me I had obviously been lucky!
However, I'm still happy he is listening.....and the conversation ended with us both agreeing that we loved the 11 in the last race.....and now we're pals. He even called me after the last to share the love.

You guys do a superb job, imo. Anytime I hear someone say "I like the one but only at 7-2 or over" on a simo show, I listen.

TRIP MAVEN
Andy Serling ,THE TRIP MAVEN, watches more races than anyone on the planet. When he instructs one to watch the replay of a race , he must be obeyed .The smartest man at the track, unless Steve Crist is in attendence. If you demand confirmation, just watch his Trips and Traps on You Tube, obligatory viewing for anyone betting the NYRA circuit.

Fixed that for you. Sharp post other than the minor slip.

I've grown to like Andy at the seminars at Siro's every summer. He really knows NY racing so I give a good listen to what he has to say.

Congratulations Andy
It is very good for racing that racing enthusiasts like Andy Serling has taken to the airwaves. This sport needs more “Andy Serlings” in both the print and electronic media because that is what brought the NFL to the forefront, having analysts on the airwaves that knew the game or at least could speak intelligently about the game.

Siro's, Andy, and a couple of cold ones are certainly the way I like to start my day at the SPA. As long as the bartender gives me the cold ones and not Andy!
