Sham stakes
Who do you guys like? I am going with the . He ran in the Futurity and ran a closing 3rd, the race just might be a little to short for him but I will take that chance.

Let's Meet In Rio
Interesting Baffert entry that gained 6 1/2 lengths in the lane first time at 2 turns. Working well, and hopefully Desormeaux was in bed before 2 AM this morning.

I'll also go with the . The race is a bit of a crap shoot on paper so I will not be betting much here. Rio is getting the juice for first time so perhaps will improve the most here.
Maybe / type wager.

Won't take much to win this one.
It gets Derby Points?
Basically a NW1 with some turf wannabees.

Yep. I'll be floored if we see any of these get in the gate at Churchill in May. 4th race might be a tougher field than this one.

I thought I'malreadythere had an interesting trip last out. He was used early to get position while losing a lot of ground, looked like he was totally done in early stretch, then rallied again a little. I thought the track had more of an outside flow that day (not a bad rail), but it was still an interesting trip.

Sham Stakes
Let's see if the blinkers help Rare Candy.
Perhaps some pace may aid him as well.
He sucks, couldn't quicken at all when asked. Don't think it will matter turf or dirt, he might not be able to handle any kind of decent company.

I agree I bet him, I know I am going to get hammered here but Kent is past his prime, I don't know why he continues to get good rides, I can understand from his brother, but from other trainers, not sure why, his love for the sauce doesn't help either.

That group better hope Finger Lakes stays open.
If we gave points to run here, they would all be in today.

The race didn't come up very fast, but I thought the winner was a lot better than whatever figure he gets. He was hung very wide early while being used but kept running. The other horses that were up there didn't fair as well, including the one I was interested in.
