Andy Serling

Picked a $20 winner in the 5th today that capped a very hittable $6K pick four.

Good job.

The man is good at putting his opinion 'on the line'.And let's face it this game we love is a game of opinions backed up by cash.

His Talking Horses selections have been quite remarkable throught this Inner meet... The Youtube show has been ringing it up as well. Great stuff.

I believe Andy is as good as any analyst. He is easily the best at NYRA since the days of Harvey Pack and Co.

Andy Serling is a refreshing change as an analyst because of his willingness to "Chuck the Chalk" completely from his top four selections. I try to catch the NYRA simulcast feed an hour before post, when Andy & Jason/Eric spend 25 minutes discussing the card as a whole. Over the years listening to Andy during the SIROS seminars, I've become an unmitigated fan!
I may not always agree with his selections, but finding out which races Andy is most against the logical choices has made for a quite a few profitable days(Blatant Redboarding).
Other track feeds where the volume remains on include: Delta Downs (Don Stevens), Mountaineer (Mark Patterson & Nancy McMicheal?), & Los Alamitos (Ed Burgarts workout backtracks, troubled trips).
I totally understand many tracks having their in-house talent touting the top three selections...I just have no interest in the obvious.

I too love to listen to Mr. Serling on the Siro's broadcasts and was thrilled to see him begin as a regular on the NYRA broadcasts.

Stay away from those dunce caps!

the changes Andy has implemented have made the NYRA offering more informative and relevant to the daily player. its really the standard in this country against which to measure the others.

I would like him more if he was less deferential and had more outward confidence. Demure handicappers like Andy are not my favorite, but to each their own

He's better looking than Harvey and Steve, both of whom have been playing long enough, they could aptly be named, Abraham and Isaac.

I'd be careful giving TLG too much more ammunition, his ego won't be able to enter the building soon, but yes, he's very good at his work, no doubt.

Hell, I'm still feeling for Watchmaker, poor dude. You boys burned him a new one. Ya'll are rough. I hope he's not losing sleep. (Like I know he is. LOLOL)

Where's Litfin? In hiding if he's smart!
