"Cops" Cancelled - Overreaction?
A college bud of mine is Executive Producer of this show, having made a decades-long career of it going back to when he started as a video editor for David L. Wolper Productions. I have to e-mail him to see what he does now.
One thing for sure, he knows where all the bodies are buried if they want to go back and look for cases of bad behavior. Another thing for sure, they didn't cancel it because they showed too many shirtless white guys being busted!

I didn't know it was still on the air.The band that did the "Bad Boys" must be depressed;all those royalties gone.

A&E has also delayed any new episodes of Live PD, a show that has been quite successful for them. In the name of Social Justice dontcha know. They had complaints that too many of the perps arrested were black.

We'll be seeing a lot of knee-jerking. Hell is coming with the political conventions and elections.

I haven't seen "Cops" in a while, and wasn't aware it was still on. Girlfriend watches "Live PD" from time to time.
Not my thing. They never seem to show the citizens/criminals winning.
They do show some good deeds from time-to-time. I know that is propaganda in itself, and it doesn't drive a ton of revenue and spark polarized political emotions on the NEWS and internet, but I like it more than a chase-n-taze…
It's all a joke. Tensions are up. Media and political machine is profiting, and people have something besides Covid-19 to discuss...
If everyone wants to focus on Police and 'justice'-drama, maybe they should run a show of good deeds highlights, instead of cancelling.

We cant handle our own history, it seems. I believe one state has disallowed the mention of slavery as even a peripheral cause of the Civil War in their textbooks (Texas?).

They want them to hire some white guys to pretend to be perps?
It is a live show - they switch back and forth as any calls are being answered. They have next to no idea what is going on when they pull from one to the other.
If anything, THIS show is a GOOD sample of what REALITY on the streets is.

You should call Adam Schiff and get to investigate cutting from the COPS show......right up his alley.

Keep my hands on the steering wheel, not put them into my pockets.
Remain calm, act like a civilized adult.
Answer their questions. Offer no insults.
Be patient, wait for them to do their procedures to ensure their safety as well as mine and not be a dick demanding to know why I was pulled over.
Understand that at night, or other risky situations, I may be handcuffed for SAFETY reasons until the situation is under control.
Chances are, unless I have really broken a law, I will drive away go home.
And depending on the severity of a law I may have broken, I might even still get a break and go home.
Respect garners respect.

COPS and Live PD are not wanted by the left because both shows show just how reality doesn't match the narrative of the left.
Show what total jerks many citizens are, what professionals most cops are.
Reality is the bane of democrats.
Anyone who learns the truth rejects the democrats.
