I haven't read the whole thread, so pardon me if this has already been mentioned, but some Britons who wanted to remain in the EU are now blaming the Brexit victory on pollsters who reported with increasing confidence as voting day got closer that the result would be in favor of remaining in the EU, causing people who opposed Brexit to stay home instead of going to the polls, thinking that their vote wasn't crucial.

Margaret Thatcher warned about surrendering too much decision making power to Brussels.

Margaret Thatcher was really on top of her game when she warned about the Euro single currency.
A great short video with British humor.

If people are too lazy to vote because they think it's a foregone conclusion, then they deserve exactly whatever happens to them.

It's a wake up call for the globalists, who may have to try another tactic to <continue to> enslave the masses. But make no mistake, they've got no shortage of game plans.
They reported this morning that the betting was VERY wrong too.

Uhhh... Donnie, the Scots voted 62-38% to stay. You know Scotland; it's a different country! Oh right- you don't!

In fact... "Trump spent most of a 15-minute speech not talking about the referendum, but offering a detailed accounting of the renovations to the course. "If the pound goes down, more people are coming to Turnberry," he said. "I think it could very well turn out to be a positive."

Yessir... when the going gets tough, Drumpf is out front, looking out for America- errr himself!

"He's not concerned with foreign policy, he's not concerned with the American people," said Clinton adviser Jake Sullivan. "He is concerned with himself and that's it."

And the Dow crashes -600+ response, in response to Trump's addled claim that the Brit economy wouldn't be hurt. He's a master of Foreign Affairs! Master dunce.
You are such a doofus. I watched the press conference live. He said the Brits took their country back, not the Scots. And he was there for the opening of his golf course, so of course he talked about the got course. Clinton issued a 2-sentence statement, while Trump took a ton of questions about this during a press conference that was supposed to be about the golf course.

This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,--
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England
.

Stop being a gobbling Trumpette!

This was the Buffoon-in-Chief's crayoned entry on Twitter:

"Just arrived in SCOTLAND. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back, just like we will take America back."

What part of "Scotland" and "took their country back", are you confused about? Or perhaps you think that because Trump is so geographically & historically challenged about the components of the Kingdom of UK, he should be given a Mulligan?

"And he was there for the opening of his golf course". Indeed he was, which is precisely the problem! Trump just cannot comprehend that he must differentiate his PRIVATE business interests from a Presidential Election campaign. In fact, he shouldn't be involved in their tacky, self serving promotion, during an election campaign! What other buffoon has ever done this before? And shills like yourself, think that somehow he's going to look after YOUR interests, rather than his own!

And what did he also say about the Brexit campaign itself?
In classic clown form, he told us that he had neither looked into it, nor today, did he have anything to say about the obvious tsunami of economic & political consequences - even after talking to his foreign policy advisers!

Is he obtuse or is it just that he doesn't give 2 shites, as long as the pound goes south and he can make more $$$ from his new Golf Course?

FOOOOOORE!

I can't see why this is a big deal other than in the minds of delusional leftists that want to ram their values down the throats of everyone else and global free traders that don't give a rats ass about the workers in the countries where they do business.

Other than that, how could you be against greater freedom from bureaucratic dimwits and more secure borders.

Good Slider, down & to the right or is it more appropriately that you've shanked it badly?

No, Trump, who freely admitted he couldn't find his arse with both hands on knowledge of Brexit, stated: "No problemo."

The markets today said otherwise and what do you think will happen come Monday, when the Germans, French & Italians have weighed in, that they might like a referendum as well?

There are huge economic, political and military consequences worldwide, for Euro instability. The timing and repercussions of any decision will affect the individual country, the entire Euro zone and the relationships among friends and foes in the world!

Trump just thinks you snap your fingers and 6 becomes 9. Out of his depth, if he cares at all.

The saltiness of the SJWs and the LA Times, MSNBC, etc. are all I need to know, to know that UK made a great decision.

Between the Donald, Ted, and Bernie (in his way different way than Donald and Ted), we have a chance to vote ourselves first. Let's hope we vote for America, as opposed to the globalist serial-email-deleter.

edit: would love for us to make a Brexit-type move from NAFTA too.

And a very good reply to the questions, IMHO.
He sounded very presidential as opposed to the Hag, and much like a human being than a screaming meme!

Sigh.

Good dodge of the issue, ignoring your statement that one comment from Trump tanked the market.
