WHY ARE YOU doubling the answer ....
$2.70 Money returned on a $2. Win bet That ROI is $1.35
But there was a total of $18.00 invested with a total return of $2.70
$2.70 / $18.00 = 0.15 ROI.
Proof $18.00 Times 0.15 = $2.70 ( the exact amount the winning ticket paid)
$18.00 times 0.30 = $5.40 ( ????? )

Each individual capper is their own person. TLG has his own 9 picks and own ROI. Travis Stone has his own picks and ROI etc.
I'm calculating ROI's to $2 increments as well.
Maybe I wasn't clear, actually , I know I wasn't clear enough. My fault and apologies. Does that explain it better?

Andy Serling ROI
$14.60
$ 2.70
$17.30 total Winnings from $18.00 investment
$17.30 / $18.00 = 0.96111 ROI
Proof $1.00 times 0.96111 = $17.29998
Being that neither Public handicapper cashed out more then they wagered on the card,, the ROI cannot be 1. something.

I'm with you LAP_520 but I'm doubling the ROI so that it is to a $2.00 ROI increment.

IF you want a ROI based on $2.00 instead of $1.00 , then it is automatically a $2.00 WIN wager (?) on each race.......
Take the total of Money won from the wagers placed and divide that number by the number of wagers,,,, NOT the Dollar cost.
Example: I make 3 wagers totaling $6.00 ( $2.00 WIN each ) . They are all Winners because I picked Irad Ortiz, Jr ... His mounts paid $2.70 ... $3.00 and $ $5.80 lets say..
That adds up to $11.50
To get my $2ROI take $11.50 / 3(wagers) = 3.83333

Yes, all bets are $2 to win on a single horse.
Why would you divide it by the # of wagers?
We're looking for the average that every capper gets back on their $2 wager

No joke I'm feeling so good. Obviously Today wasn't as illogical as I thought it would be but holy I've been waiting to transition back from gp to nyra, hopefully we can get a couple solid weeks of turf

I owe you an apology, I misread the last part. You're right, yes you can get to the same result that way.
