I had a couple black friends on the college football team. They were 2500 miles from home and had no car. I kid thee not, the first time I took them grocery shopping the first thing they put in the cart was a couple large boxes of Banquet fried chicken and a watermelon. I just busted out laughing, I got the "WTF is so funny, Bob?" How could it be considered a racist stereotype if true? They also drank malt liquor, Ole English 800 or Schlitz. That was of course 45 years ago. I think with beer when younger I went through phases,
I think in HS and college it was Lowenbrau. I also drank the malt liquor with the black friends.
