Brisnet Current Class.....what is it indicating?

I've always wondered what Current Class was when compared to how it differs from the Average Class Last 3? Is it using all the races in a horses history? Or past 5/7/10 pacelines?

Anyone know what goes into it?

I've wondered the same thing. When the CC shows NA, I use the AL3. I suspect it has something to do with a change in the Average Competitive Level ranking, but don't know for sure.
