Brisnet LP represents different distances for each race?

So Im embarrased to admit this, bit Im finally seeing how E1 and E2 is guessed based on how points of call and fractional poins can vary. Spent 30 minutes with Bris chart drawing it out and seeing where they match and mismatch.

Take for example a 5.5f race. Only E1 matches up. E2 is just extrapolated I guess, with LP being layed on top of an extrapolated E2? Do I have this right??

Also Im a bit confused when Bris says LP rates from the 2nd call (pre stretch) call to the finish. I thought the stretch call was at the samw position for every race, 1 furlong left? In this case in5, it wouldnt be a pre stretch call right?

Thanks for clarifying how Im seeing it.

LP is the third fraction. At 5.5F it is 1.5 furlongs.
At 6.0F is is 2.0 furlongs.
At 7.o furlongs, it is 3.0 furlongs.

I posted a few months ago the formulae to assign time values to the E1, E2 and LP numbers, if you are interested.

Kinda coming back to this as Ive been thinking about it more lately. The LP is for anything after 4furlongs thus its 2 furlongs/2.5f/3f/3.5f.

Does that mean you can only compare LPs if they covered the same distance after the pace call? Does the LP become lower generally if the distance increases?
