Yea that was big. I waited out the full 8 weeks and hadn't a made a single bet, the plan was to bet this horse in this race and then when the draw came in at post 10 I said no I just can't do it. So, frustrated I took a look at the Oaklawn race and landed on Timberlake.
As the Florida Derby grew closer however I see two horses are scratched out of it including the horse that figured to challenge early. So now post 10 is more like post 8, I split the bet between both races and ended up making chump change. Oh well. My handicapping leaves much to be desired when I keep trying to beat Baffert. It's foolishness. Timberlake rank early and Muth put a knot in him on the turn, in fact much like he did in the BC he got separation on him there too. I did at least expect a good race out of Timberlake form-wise though, was dead wrong on that.
