R9 Aqueduct: $40K Clm 11/15/19

Nothing like good ol' cappin' to get way from bitter bantering.

I gotta hand it to Aqueduct thus far this meet, I'm no spring chicken, but this has been a fantastic meet thus far. I simply can't ever remember a Big A card in the Fall/Winter meet with this many horses running in big, solid and competitive fields. Kudos.

Catch a Cab: Form looks a little sketchy, but it really isn't that bad. Sure, you have to go back 8 races to find him a winner, but he has a number of races under his belt that are more than competitive in here. Not without a chance.

Zapperini: The supposed better half of the entry supposedly has some serious Class over the rest of this field. With that said, he is 3 for 32 lifetime. And has only hit the board 13 of 32 tries. I have little doubt both will go to the gate, and this is obviously a strong entry.

Lucky Ramsey: Been beat by almost everybody in the field at one time or other. Has never won at the distance, but has solid AQU and turf numbers. I see enough speed in here to make him interesting in the bottom of exotics. Hard to see on top.

Seanow: Front runner gets back to turf again, but would likely want it to switch to an off track. 4 for 9 lifetime, so can't be completely dismissed, but if this stays on the green stuff, he is hard to back unless you believe he will wire the field.

River Deep: Interesting shipper that takes action. Those Laurel races aren't all that bad considering the crew here. This is my must include bomb in exotics.

Wicked Freud: Maybe the one to beat. The 6/1 ML has to be a mistake. Servis horse should be coming late. Possible PT favorite.

Hieroglyphics: As solid a horse as there is in the field. Impossible to leave out of exotics. Johnny V is struggling, so maybe I need to see him beat me on a horse like this?

Siding Spring: Could be a scary lone speed in this field. Decent 1st out claiming angle on the trainer, and Rosario gets the mount. Really tough entry, and needs large consideration on top.

Mills: MTO wants it to be on the main.

Krewe Chief: Seconditis to an extreme. 34-3-10-4. Could win but from this post I have to simply look at for exotics and bet against. Can't make a solid case to bet this one from the outside at any kind of short price.

Since Catch a Cab is entered on Saturday, he HAS to scratch on Friday, so both halves on the entry will not run.

Tosses are Catch a Cab, Lucky Ramsey, and Krewe Cheif.

After that seems like you have a lot of horses that do not like to win that often.

exacta box? if the odds add up to 30/1, would be worth the play.

I’ll agree that has speed, but from what I have seen at 1 mile on the turf, speed has not held up. I’ll watch that intently.

I see how that came off wrong, and certainly wasn't my intent.

I meant, I'm an idiot, and am not sure how it works how the get scratched because of a Saturday entry.

I truly want to understand as to why. My apologies if you took it differently than that.

Outside of Stakes races, and MTOs, if a horse is entered on two consecutive racing days, it must be scratched on the first day. I don't know if this is a rule in all States, but it is in NY.

I didn't have my coffee either...

NOT CLM ... 'Trainer Change', and still owned by Dubb/Mad/Beth ... I'd be more inclined to guess he'll in fact hold form (whatever you may fell that really is at this point)
