Gabby Giffords and her husband lose, along with her aid who took her seat.

Giffords is slowly but surely becoming less relevent ........which is a good thing
These are the people who blamed Sarah Palin for Giffords being shot by a nutball, who was a Dem, btw.

Giffords’ gun-control group, Americans for Responsible Solutions, spent more than $2 million on Barber’s behalf, including a 60-second TV ad in October that featured Giffords, who still has trouble with her speech. “Ron Barber is independent, he’s courageous, and most of all he’s Arizona through and through,” she said in the ad."

Giffords was "pro-gun" until she was shot by a man who was considered crazy by everybody who he can in contact with. Yet he was allowed to own a gun. Tell me again how it is a good idea to allow crazies like him too own a gun. How it is good idea to have clips that allowed killers to spray bullets into a crowd. Thanks to the Arizona justice system, Jared Loughner was allowed to escape the death penalty despite killing 6 people including a 9 year old girl and a federal judge by taking a plea deal. If he doesn't deserve the death penalty, who does? Is Arizona the new twilight zone?
As for Palin, this episode was beginning of her fall form grace. At the time she was talked about as a major contender for the GOP nod in 2012. By the time 2012 rolled around even she knew she had no chance. If Hollywood Squares was still on the air, she'd be in the bottom right square competing all the other washed up celebrities competing for a moment in the spotlight again. The far right has a new woman to slobber over, Iowa Senator Elect Joni Ernst. Sarah has been tossed aside like an old high school girlfriend when you go off to college.

Some day in the not too distant future, horse players will betting on computer generated races over the net. Race tracks will become casinos and shopping centers. And some crooner will be belting out "there used to be a race track here".

The only think of note Giffords ever did was get shot.
Sorry if that is offensive, but she was a big zero.
The shooting is all she will ever be remembered for.

Probably true. It is also true of Christina-Taylor Green, the nine year old granddaughter of former Yankees manager born on 9/11/2001. She never had a chance to make a name for herself. Thank-you NRA for make sure crazies can have their second amendment rights.

You have the words "right" and "far" in the wrong order. It is not the liberals who abandoned Sarah because they saw her for what she was. It is the republicans who are treating her like yesterday's blog. Pretty hard for me to feel sorry for somebody who merely got back what she spewed.
