Not sure. my last day is the 28th of this month. We have a regular back up who might do it or there's a guy who hosted our tv show the last few years who does football play by play that might do it as well.

Any update on a new PM announcer?
GOD, I REEEEEAAALLLY miss hearing you over there. Not going to be super negative but the replacements sound like they never watched a race, EVER before picking up the microphone.
Can I apply for the PM job ?

Well you're right in that he'd never called a race before. He's a football/basketball play by play guy. He used to host our TV show. He's a great guy and I wish him the absolute best in a tough spot. Announcing a new sport with no experience is tough.

I do wish him the best. I know it's hard. I'll be soft on him. Problem is I keep waiting to hear "AND THE RAAAAACCCCE is OOOONNN"! Miss those calls.

actually not that at all. regular back ups and options couldn't do it. Heck we even tried to get Vic
getting someone non-local to move for a 2 day a week job for 5 weeks isn't easy

And that is 1 small reason why I hate the reduction in racing dates/tracks/races etc. God I miss the good old days.

Wait a minute, so I have a couple of questions:
DO you get paid if they cancel?
Do you work another job on the side?
