Pistorius
As we saw 20 years ago with OJ, if you are a famous athlete, you can literally get away with murder.

I didn't follow the case so I can't really comment. My lady friend who did follow it is pretty shocked.

Has it been 20 years? No wonder I feel so old.

I wonder if he had any time served.. I'm thinking 5 with all but one suspended. Just a wild guess.

They made huge mistake by going for premeditated murder. Too hard for them to prove....He killed her in a rage

I don't see what the big mistake was. They went for the home run and wound up with a single. If they only go for the single, they only get a single. I don't see the downside in trying for premeditated murder.
I agree with you that it wasn't premeditated, but culpable homicide is the same as manslaughter, and I believe he did more than that. He committed 2nd degree murder in my eyes.

Well well...manslaughter conviction overturned and now he's looking at a murder charge and 15yrs.
Didn't even serve a year before going home under house arrest.
Fix this travesty and lock that dudeup.
