Can You Name These Six Boston Celtics Players?

DOUBLE-DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE;
HE’S THE MASTER OF THE TRIPLE-DOUBLE.

PLAYED COLLEGE BALL AT CHAPEL HILL;
WILSON’S SON-IN-LAW IS A CLUE.

HE IS “THE CHIEF”…THE STRONG-SILENT TYPE;
HE DOESN’T CARE MUCH FOR MEDIA HYPE.

A CELTICS’ COACH…”ROOKIE OF THE YEAR”;
A RED-HEADED CENTER WE LOVED TO CHEER.

THEY CALLED HIM…”THE WALL”;
SIX-FOOT EIGHT-INCHES TALL.

AN AMAZING JUMPER…COULD HE GET HOT;
SO PROLIFIC…THEY CALLED HIM “THE SHOT”.

4th one is Cowens. That's by far the easiest one you've thrown at us all week.

3rd one's Parish.

#2: Bob McAdoo. He played for Celtics for one year, 1979. His namesake was William Gibbs McAdoo, Secretary of the Treasury, 1913-1918. He married Woodrow Wilson's daughter, Eleanor.

#5 Wayne Embry

#6 Jack "The Shot" Foley.

Bob McAdoo. There's a blast from my introductory period to the NBA. He was on the old Buffalo team wasn't he?
