I always thought that "high tech" would always win out over low producers. I mean...what is the purpose of high tech if not to produce more goods or services faster and more efficiently that its slower and lower counterparts? Haven't we always considered this to be progress? I don't understand why the employees are so upset. Evidently, they never pondered the tenuousness or expendability of their positions in a high tech environment.
