Ah I think you're baiting me. But impeachment is one method. Being found guilty of a crime of corruption and sentenced to a prison term is another. I'm sure there are other ways too but I'll leave that up to your imagination.

Dumb as they are, the House Republicans are smarter than.....well they're smart enough to not try to impeach Obama during an election year.

In the first place, they could never get the two thirds vote necessary in the Senate. More importantly, an impeachment attempt would gain sympathy for Obama. People would ask, "We have an election coming up. Why are you trying to circumvent the democratic process?"

In our entire history prior to 1998 we had one presidential impeachment attempt. Now suddenly we are going to have two in 15 years? What better proof that these impeachment attempts are based not on misconduct, but on political motivation.

Go ahead, Impeach Obama and guarantee him a second term.

Yesterday I agreed with Newt; today I agree with you. I have got to schedule a therapy session.

Could you American PA members take it one step further please? That is, instead of just complaining about the U.S. Federal Government spending money like a drunken sailor on unnecessary programs and unnecessary civil service jobs, extravagant perks for Congress and the public sector unions etc, could you please send an email to your Federal Government representative to get their act together? Just complaining here doesn't accomplish much.

Here in Canada, I'm a pain in the neck to the tax-and-spend politicians in our local and provincial governments. That is, by sending emails or making telephone calls to these types with complaints about what they SHOULD BE DOING! I just got tired of annual tax increases higher than the rate of inflation (along with sneaky tax increases in the form of automatic annual increases in user fees, on things like some utility bills without any justification for the increases). People need to TAKE A STAND...SPEAK OUT! No time to be Mr. Milquetoast.

On the positive side, I also send emails of praise or telephone calls to the few politicians who share the same fiscal conservative philosophy that I do. Unfortunately, they are in the minority.

The inaction and partisan politics in Congress to reduce reckless spending is affecting the stock markets here in Canada adversely too on my retirement investments. So it's not just affecting U.S. citizen's investment retirement plans.

How about telling your U.S. government reps to

1. Punish so-called American companies financially some way, who are outsourcing U.S. jobs to third world countries.

2. Kick out illegal immigrants. The cost must be enormous over time in the social benefits they will receive. For example just comparing what they will contribute versus what they will receive in social benefits long term.

3. Cut costs at prisons. Like they do in Arizona at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's famous Maricopa County tent city jail. Of course, the climate there is conducive to using tents as an alternative. Kudos to Sheriff Joe, he's one of my heros on his tough stance against criminals. Maybe you've heard about him or seen him being interviewed on TV. If I'm not mistaken, I think Sheriff Joe wants criminals to pay for their food soon too. Arizona taxpayers will probably like that. Kudos to the Arizona state government too on getting tough on crime. Even though Sheriff Joe and the Arizona state government take a lot of criticism from the bleeding heart lefties. I say boo hoo to them!

4. How about making constitution changes to reduce the amount of Congress members? Seems to me that would save a lot of money for taxpayers, what with all the high salaries and perks they get paid. (you notice I didn't say 'earned')! Some of them do earn their pay probably ...some don't.

5. Eliminate casinos across the USA, except Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Then people will spend money on useful products and services, thus getting more money in circulation and stimulating the economy naturally (unlike the unnatural 'U.S. Federal government stimulus packages)'.

--The list could go on and on....but I hope you get my point. Please feel free to list further ideas here...and send the ideas to your U.S. Federal representatives and demand they take action on reducing unnecessary spending.

Thank you,

T2W

Back to the stock market. CNBC had a floor trader on early this morning talking about the Thursday to Monday scenario. He said his research dating back to 1929 had on uncovered 29 times when their was big sell off the Thursday. On Friday the market waffles(which it did to day). Then on Monday, it is Katie bar the door(big time drop). Sometime it goes into Tuesday morning. Then there is very good Bull Market for a while. The guy is a republican and hates Obama. He is on CNBC quite a bit but I can't think of his name right now. It will be interesting to see if he is right.

We do not need two thirds vote necessary in the Senate to prove beyond a doubt there is a scumbag subverting our economy.
