Another high-profile liberal sex fiend bites the dust.

I am withholding opinion on this one. That was an awfully quick firing. They got proof in one day to justify firing?

Ever since Meghan Kelly went to NBC, it's been rumored all over the rags that Lauer and Kelly have been engaged in a battle of the Prima Donnas. Lauer was said to barely tolerate Kelly because he thought he couldn't be fired, that their ratings would plummet without him.

So now he's quickly fired, with admittedly their first complaint in 20 years that he's worked there? It makes you consider if they were looking for a way to get out of their contract and Lauer may be a victim.

You know the old expression, "Lauer Lauer, pants on fire."

I predict that the despicable Megyn Kelly will be the front runner to replace the sex predator and liberal smarty pants, the fired Mutt Lauer.

Yes, yes, she's a horrible person, a proven ratings disaster and simply isn't as bright as her PR hacks and TV associates say she is, but NBC is paying her mega bucks and needs to get something out of the little shanty girl.

You actually believe this is a first offense?? Maybe since the Weinstein scandal broke.

This was inevitable.
Matt treated Trump fairly and professionally in the debates.
Sealed his own doom.

I found it amazing NBC actually claimed to have standards and core values.

I heard a rumor that the complainant is Al Roker

The thing that is scary now is that ANY act is considered the sames as rape.
Is making a crude comment the same as groping and is that the same as using the casting couch?

there will be many others come forward. The execs knew and have a pretty good idea how many I'm sure. Soon as one canary sang they knew the others would start. So they tried to nip it in the bud as fast as they could. I think in this current environment, your going to start seeing dozens of these people outed. We've just seen the tip of the iceburg.

If you're important at all in the entertainment industry, better think twice before even joking near a female coworker, even if others are present.
Its a huge problem for executives now, because they have to take each complaint "extremely serious" regardless how minor it may appear. Otherwise they'll find themselves in deep shit. Women have definitely found an upper hand. No one will ever convince me women don't make their own sexual advances in the workplace as well. What a double standard.

There are a number of stories about this at Drudge, several using the term "sexual assault". Among others, the NY Times has been investigating this story for several weeks. Looks like it was about to break, and NBC wanted to get ahead of it.

I'm guessing offenders have already started deserting weeks ago. Knowing they are about to get popped. Early retirements, leaving the country, whatever they can do to escape. Classy.

Early retirements, leaving the country, running for Congress, whatever they can do to escape.

Who knows how many "rich and powerful" men are quivering in the seats of their Ferraris and Rolls Royces right about now?
