Pizzagate didn’t start out as this generalized non-specific bad things in Washington meme you want it to be now. It meant something specific that was proven false repeatedly but still has people with truly open minds questioning.
Like every other conspiracy theory, there is no point in arguing with a true believer. No amount of evidence can ever close the door for those with open minds.

Seriously, you have no idea what you are talking about.
If you read the mainstream narrative it was all about sex trafficking and torture at a pizza shop, but that's why I keep saying the mainstream narrative is false.
The story was formed based on a wikleaks dump that included John Podesta's emails, Strafor's emails, and FBI documents that talked about symbols used by pedophiles to communicate with each other. Wikileaks purposely bundled those 3 sets of information together. The story grew out of those sources of information and was reinforced by some tweets by Andrew Breitbart from years ago (including his outing of Anthony Weiner years ago before everyone else knew about his sexcapades with minors), the 100% VERIFIABLE FACT that "cheese pizza" is a term used by pedophiles to refer to child porn, and the connections between Jeffry Epstein (convicted pedophile) and many important people including the Clintons.
People began speculating whether some of what was in those emails was code for pedophilia. Then they started looking at the names in those emails and researched the people. That's when they saw a ton of stuff on web pages and instagram accounts that was really creepy and suggestive.
Much of the speculation was bat shit crazy and easily explained away. That's the stuff the mainstream media tried to discredit. Some of it was never addressed and can't be explained. That's all the stuff the mainstream media continues to ignore.

..Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced Friday that a federal grand jury, as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, has indicted 12 Russian nationals accused of hacking the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The 12 defendants named in the indictment are members of the Russian intel agency, the GRU, according to a Justice Department press release about the indictment.
The hackers, the DOJ said in its press release, released the hacked information “on the internet under the names DCLeaks and Guccifer 2.0 and through another entity.”
