Will need quota of diversity to be eligible for Academy Awards
starting 2024, the Oscars will be more woke. All aspects of a film must meet minority, gay and disabled quotas for actors and crew.

The Oscars used to be given for talent, and obviously there isn't any left, so they have to improvise.

This is actually the least objectionable place to do this. It's an industry not involved in anything necessary to feed, clothe, transport or shelter anyone's family. They could totally make films unwatchable and who would care?

Politics aside, films with social agendas tend to be boring and predictable. When a movie seeks primarily to indoctrinate, rather than entertain, they should pay people to watch it-not vice versa.
