How about the singer Sia ? She had a mop on her face with a giant bow on top and a girl rolling around the floor in obviously pain, that's when I thought I was on a bad acid trip .........

Trump did what he was suppose to do, he was funny. He also seized on the opportunity to toss in a few plugs for himself. Being the television audience is likely overwhelmingly liberal, perhaps he nabbed a few votes he may need down the road.
Personally, I think SNL has gone to shit over the past 20 years or so. Trump brought back a momentary ratings boost and took full advantage of it.

SNL has two basic problems -
Terrible cast.
Worse writers.
Political humor can be enjoyed by both sides.
Problem with SNL is......nothing they do is funny.
Everyone on the show is a part a little NBC inbred family - where new ideas and talent are never seen.
The only bright spot of the night was Larry David going for the 5G's.
Technically, I think it is now owed to him.

I would have said the same thing before I saw that Win, Lose, or Draw parody with the prophet Mohammed not long ago. That made me laugh.

If only they had thought up the idea.
Win, Lose or Draw was the original version of the sketch done by 22 Minutes in Canada. SNL did an almost direct copy several months later and called it "Picture Perfect". Here they are side-by-side.

Well then that's fairly pathetic. Screw SNL. Tom's right yet again.
