ah ok I hadn't seen that
you should do some other tracks too - like Hollywood or Monmouth
I'm sure we can handle the extra degree of complexity

The guy has been the only Beyer basher to date to beat me heads up...I say it's beginner's luck until proven wrong...still, at least he beat me...go easy on him...

try this tomorrow and another basher will go up against the traditional "last chapter" handicapping.

Maybe you could just post them ahead of time. You did fine the first day, hats off to you. However, nobody wants to hear what you had after the races are done today.

Revel away, I'll search for your thread on Belmont day. That'll be the third time you and andy get beat like a rented mule.

I think you mean that you don't want nobody to hear it.

I had surgery on Friday and was discharged Saturday afternoon, otherwise I could have been involved. Bought a form for Sunday and limited my play to Monmouth and Woodbine. Only two winners at WO but played the first six races at MON and ran the table. With its new format that track is a cash cow.
When I played the week before your system picked the days best bet and that one beat my pick by a head. If I'm a head faster the results would have been reversed. The exacta in that race had some value.
I have learned the total folly of listing three horses for every race. Public handicappers must be masochists. In real-time you box an exacta when you find two horses that you like equally and no others. I caught two of those last week and that put me just above break-even. If the object is to pick a race winner, why not limit it to one pick per race. Better yet, keep listing three horses but change the bet to exacta boxes and rolling doubles. Either way I'll try to participate on Belmont day.

Nine hours? Yeah, from the time you posted it (4am)...who the hell is up at that time to read it? More like 3-4hrs dude. The reason folks didn't get involved with this one is that they had no time, not because they're scared.
Geez, you post in the wee hours of the morn and then call folks out when they don't react quick enough and take you on...typical.

I find it a bit difficult to know when this is on as well. I still don't really know what the final selection criterion is either. Something a la 'last BEYER over surface/distance within the last XX days"?

The selection criteria is of no concern to me, since I will use my own criteria when I post. Pace is using his 'Beyer system' that was posted in a long ago thread, but the gist of it is that he is using Beyers and the challenge is to 'beat the Beyers'...I'm cool with that...just gotta have a bit more notice.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Head-To-Head score vs. Beyer Bashers:
Me 3
BB 1
