as bad as some think the FBI is, there are plenty of local and state police departments that are much worse.

Apples to oranges. The FBI has jurisdiction everywhere in the States. They even have operational agreements to work in foreign countries

Shitty Police Depts end at the city limits or county line etc

Huge difference

Big difference between fresh meat for the bored, and a hierarchy that has been allowed to be partisan at the top depending who the administration is.

Corruption doesn't surprise me but the widespread corruption in the media, internet, intelligence, politics, military, etc., it's actually kind of shocking how corrupt this country actually is. You can't even trust the scientists. Everything is partisan.

Is there really more corruption these days...or was the corruption always there but it went largely unnoticed? I think it's the latter.
