What FOULEST of curses, I ask, has fallen upon Mnr's ever virtuous and clean living simulcast team?? What are we? The freaking House of Usher??

And if you ask but receive no satisfactory answer...does this mean that you didn't ask "sincerely"?

Sounds more like "The Telltale HEART" beating from inside the lonely studio and demanding attention!
Prayers for a successful surgery. May all go well and may you be back doing what that heart loves (and we love) quickly!

In my career, I had this job that I absolutely loved. I loved coming in to work and helping people. Then the management team made my life miserable, changing my tours frequently, giving me poor evaluations, denying me days off, etc. So I was forced to leave to go somewhere else…and it wound up being a blessing in disguise.
I think you might have to do the same thing and it will become your blessing in disguise. There is nothing worse than working for an employer who doesn’t want you.

Tx, guys. A ton. Please know this is not a life threatening procedure, and the recovery time is short.
Even though I'm fit and extremely active for an ancient fat dude-and have never smoked-my heart is a dumpster fire of alarming cadences, low ejection fractions, and moderate symptoms of potential failure. I take 15 pills per day.
For a decade I stopped visiting my heart doctor(s). But at the insistence of my wife, a much experienced RN, I went to a cardiologist of her choosing and found him pro-active, even an alarmist in my case.
I am still trying to push the procedure back until Mnr goes down. But he just is not having it.
Again, fellow board members, your concerns are unnecessary, but much appreciated.

After carefully reading your post, the highlighted lines do not fit the narrative of what you shared with us...."He just is not having it", doesn't sound non-threatening, just the opposite.

Yes. One of my cardiologists, the one who will do the procedure, is insistent on expediting this. And these are heart conditions I have lived with for at least 17 years.
When they read my echo they always freak out. And they straight up call me a liar when I tell them I don't get chest pains or suffer bouts of dizziness.
Sometimes I think I know my heart better than they do.

Then my question would be...."Why is this needed RIGHT NOW"?....I don't trust hospitals or doctors in these absurd times.

I had an echo taken for the first time a few years ago, I felt 100% healthy, doc freaks out upon reading it & sends me to the ER immediately. 24 hours worth of tests, a few weeks of monitor data & a visit to the cardiologist & they determine that my resting heart echo shows up as if I'm in the middle of experiencing a heart attack. I explained that horse racing is where I make my living, thought it'd be obvious I always seemed mid-heart attack for that reason. Was expecting all the alarms to start sounding on the monitors in the hospital when watching my bets fail for the day.
Best of luck with your surgery!
