Ground.
Pretty much a simpleton when it comes to my coffee prep. During the week, I use the ol' Mr Coffee auto, and on the weekends, when I have more time, I use a percolator. Nothing beats a good cup of coffee with the Form on a Saturday morning...

For those who truly love their coffee it is a safe bet to stock up now, there is going to be a sharp price increase and supply issues over the next couple of months.

Good stuff. (Whole bean.)
Used to drink Eight O'Clock Columbian, but the brand has gone down hill lately. There is no coffee aroma when I open the bag, and mediocre flavor. Many others complaining about the same thing on Amazon.
Also recommend Tim Horton coffee. On Amazon for $12.99 for 2 lb. bag of whole bean. Occasionally the primary source on Amazon is out of stock, and the price jumps up to $21. Then I just wait until it is back in stock at $12.99.

Whole bean and grind at home. Fine setting. An espresso machine on the counter, but not using it much. Turned to an aeropress for most cups. Nice little contraption that produces excellent flavor.

I've bought a cup of coffee a few times just to see what all the buzz was...but I was never able to finish it. Don't like tea either.

When I was a kid, I remember my parents grocery shopping at A&P and getting 8 O'Clock. The grinders were at the registers. When you checked out, they ground your coffee for you. Smelled great. Too bad it has gone down hill, but all things change.
The S.O. loves Tim Horton's. I can't drink full octane any longer. I wish I could. I can only handle 1/2 caf. If I could, I'd still be drinking Dunkin Donuts or Peet's or Tim Horton's. Just can't handle that much Caffeine any longer. 1 or 2 cups in the morning of 1/2 Caf is my limit. And IMO, 1/2 caf never tastes as good as full octane.

Roast my own from green beans, grind when needed, using manual pour-over method into a thermos. a true addiction.

I've roasted in a popcorn maker and in a frying pan and the coffee was very good, but I hate spending the time, so I doubt I'll ever do it again.

I do not brew coffee at home/office anymore. I usually drink tea every day, and reserve coffee drinking for when I’m out at a coffee shop or restaurant, which is usually two or three times a week.

My Cuisinart and organic medium blend from the local Fresh & Easy works for me.

Clocker, you mentioned Tim Horton coffee. I've been drinking it every morning this week; its outstanding. Keurig cups now come in Tim Horton brand. Its a GREAT cup of coffee. I've heard for years that their donuts were the BEST, though I'm not a lover of sweets. Thank you for speaking of their coffee.

Tim Horton - great coffee, terrible cups.
Need to go to environment-killing foam!
Got a TH on the corner of my street, another by the lake. Just got back from enjoying a huuuuuuge cup at the lake.
But I gotta give kudos to McDonalds - good coffee, logical foam cup, and travel lid that actually work and is easy to drink out of.
But in a pinch Maxwell House instant gets me going.

I find most brands of pre-roasted coffee too bitter, so I roast my own. It's a bit more of a pain, but worth the trouble, since I only drink about a 1/4 pound or so every two weeks.
Rule of 15 applies:
15 weeks - how long green coffee beans can be stored
15 days - how long roasted coffee is "good"
15 min - how long pre-ground coffee is "good"
If prices are going up, I need to order some more this week.

Green beans are very stable. If kept dry they can easily last for several years. When I wholesaled coffee some product would sit for 6 months warehoused in burlap bags. Didn't affect it one bit.

The only time I drink coffee is at the track, because I need a caffeine jolt to get my brain working. I have no idea what coffee ifs supposed to taste like because the track coffee tastes different every day.
