Also, I wonder if Ophra buys into Obama's BS? Does this multi-billionaire know that she had many helping hands along the way? Then how come they weren't on the stage with her receiving that award? How come Trump wasn't up there on the stage with her, as the CEO of the U.S. and chief representative of the people, taking credit on behalf the U.S. government for whatever it was Ophra supposedly accomplished?

And they weren't even his own words. The guy is so lacking in original thought, he was channeling Elizabeth Warren.
Quote:
Warren rejects the concept that it is possible for Americans to become wealthy in isolation.
"You built a factory out there? Good for you," she says. "But I want to be clear: you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did."
She continues: "Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along."

It looks like Marx's Labor theory of Value still lives in some quarters (i.e. mainstream Democratic Party thought).

I believe I said they usually give this out. We weren't sure it was going to happen again due to new CEO. He decided he didn't need a bigger salary. There are some that actually received more I'm told. This is above the wage increases we all got also. Which was twice what they have normally been. It's to the point I can barely take all this winning. If it gets any better I'll have to bring a wheel barrow to work to bring my paycheck home in.

Is not, "we get the government we deserve", one of your favorite sayings?
