Would have been a nice longshot to start the day off with, Jim.
What I want to know is--how is INAGOODWAY listed @ 8-1 ML 5TH RACE @ RPX?
Has to be a typo:
*the bottom horses I just eliminated because they don't appear to have a chance-ncg

Bet down to PT favorite, pays 7.20 to win. Easy as it gets.

Damn good bit of Pace View 'capping, Jim.....that horse had way too much going for it to be 30-1. Looking at the chart--you just missed a $52.00 score--according to the chartmaker, DEVLISH GRIN got nailed "in the shadow of the finish line".
Excellent job

Happened to spot IT'S ALL GOOD DAWG 20-1 @ Presque. This is another horse with way too much "heat" to be 20-1. He's a good bet to just wire this field--it looks pretty blatant--but if you were just scanning the PP's 'DAWG might not be that noticeable.
That top rated 4/5 horse--I put that black square around his Bris Speed because, a lot of times you see one horse with a Speed Rating way above everyone else....it's very possible he's peaked and now on a downward swing.

A few others that stood out for one reason or another:
BEL 7TH-- SECURITIZ 8-1
LRL 4TH-- NATURAL NOTION 8-1 --- 7TH -- DISCREET DECEIT 4-1
PRX 3RD-- HONOR COMMITMENT 3-1 --- 6TH-- IT DOESN'T END WELL 15-1
PID 1ST -- IT'S ALL GOOD DAWG 20-1
RPX 3RD-- SO YOU SAY 5-1 --- 5TH-- OVERLAND PARK 10-1 -- 12TH-- GIANNA'S DREAM 7-2
WOX 7TH -- BUDDING 8-1
good luck
-NCG

I did that last week, bet the entry early not knowing the horse scratched, and the other part of the entry won. Happens more often than you would think. The trainer enters both horses to make the race go, then scratches the weaker horse. There were only 6 horses without the entry. They don't like to let a race go with 6 or fewer unless they have to, whereas with 8 it's usually a go. (depending on the track and available horses.)

Especially if the same jockey is listed for both horses. If the entry goes with another jockey named on the other horse, don't bet the entry.

True...when Delgado was named on both--it's pretty clear they're both not going.

Wish it happened enough to make a profitable spot play out of it. Or when "also's" draw in...if anyone has come up with a profitable play---they ain't tellin.

I'll tell you one that has been profitable:
When a trainer has 2 horses go uncoupled in a race, bet the on with the highest odds.

I'd love to agree with you, but I've run the data on this one for the last 5 years, and the answer is -ROI......It's good for a year here, a certain trainer there, but always regresses to loser status.
