Why not A Universal Clock for All US Race Tracks?

In Todays Tech world Its Not Hard Nor Costly.

And Each Race Has A run down to the Off. That of is 1 minute or 2 before the Start. Now Bets with Fractious Horses at the gates can be Conditional.
Also When As What Happen to ME after A mile + race Click durin click after then one more click Brought My 8/1 to 2/1-We Are Talking Autumn OK Butt A Bigg Track??? Was Barney Curley in America? Damned. I Used My Clock at 4+ minutes the odds still went Down-----

Now when This Late Ok sometimes Thigs Happen other times it IS shenanigans.
And Everytime that Happens There should be an inquiry---When it is BS Heads SHoul ROLL HARD N FAST---Just Let me Get my Cane first.

OK I reject all This BS said--I was A Det-In another life. With The Tech There is a way to get and keep public trust. Otherwise all that you say about saving this game growing it is all hot air----The GP As in Large %'s won't buy the cool aid. And That is Too Damned Bad. Its a Great Game Us Folk Hana Should do our Damndest to Make it the Best Game it could Be. Eff The Detractors. Says ME.

I can live with late starting races, but when the tracks start moving up the post times I get mad. There is nothing worse than having a horse you like in a race and logging on to Twinspires to check the odds at what you thought was 5 MTP and finding out the race was run 20 minutes ago. This one the reasons I have stopped even looking at the PPs for NYRA races. I am not going to sit through 6 races that I don't want to bet just to make sure a horse I like is going off at odds I like.

You might have the germ of a good idea there, but I for one am having a very hard time deciphering what you are saying.

Greyfox Thanks- Lets just say I wasn't able to communicate well from My Injury. These Past years I have Been Getting Better. Thanks.

I also Lost Huge With Lets Say race 6 running 20 minutes to soon. Not for weather conditions.

OK When I get a Cell phone I don't Nor does anyone ask How to set it-If you have a Verizon Phone they are all on the same time-With Cable Lets Use Charter, all the boxes are on the same time.
The Cities DPW SAME gig. At The Sheriffs Dept same gig. All had same time. IT was a Matter of LAW.

Racing is willy nilly All Different Times. That is Olde School Crap.

Say all 3 of us are watching a race similcasted. The corner of the screen should be the time to the of for race 7 @ The Big A-Same with every race that is off next. I say The Off should be Before Post-So NO LATE ODDS movement. WHEN that does happen, instant inquiry to why. Its Time to End 8/1 @ the off and 2/1 @ the Finish.

The Game Appears dirty enough this I Know the said reasons/ Butt This will stop what really seems to be a rash of Late money thrown in the pool.

I Hope You understand me better. Im Trying Mates...

No matter how long you wait and when the cutoff time is, there is always going to be money being bet at same time as you make your wager and sometimes it going to change the odds. It is something that is bitched about here all the time. You seem to want to be able make your wager after the betting has closed for everyone else. That isn't going to happen. You can move around the cutoff time for wagering all you want, but no matter when it is, there is always going to be a lot of last second wagering.

If you have ever worked near or even watched the gate crew, you would know that horses do not care about anyones schedule. Some even decide they want to start before the gates open, and break through the gate to get a head start.

And sometimes the track purposely speeds up post times if there is bad weather on the way and they want to be done by the time it gets there.

So in theory, you have a good idea, but not practical in practice - maybe you could program an app so people like you could get up-to-date min to post and current odds (from track clock)
