Charts in Newspapers?

The Times Picayune in New Orleans has always carried FG charts. What other daily papers provide the same service for their local ovals? I'd be curious to know if racing is getting its due in other cities. Do the Louisville and Lexington papers carry charts every day? I've only seen those Bluegrass papers during Derby time so not sure.

In Chicagoland, last I knew, Chicago Sun-Times & Daily Herald (NW Suburbs, Arlington Park market area) still ran full charts. Chicago Tribune dropped them many years ago, lucky to get tiny area with 1st 3 finishers from them, hidden amongst the H.S. Girls Volleyball & Bowling results.

A lot of papers that have cut back on racing coverage have removed the charts in favor of summary results, which sucks. However, with free charts being readily available online from many sources about 30 minutes after a race is declared official, it's not a big deal to me. You can find them at drf.com, equibase.com, tsnhorse.com and brisnet.com.

I know the LA Times and San Diego Union cut out their charts. I used to read the San Francisco Chronicle daily and they always had the charts. I have no idea if they have them now. I know the Phila Inquirer only shows the summary results for Philly Park and Delaware Park.

Well after the demise of the Cincinnati Post were down to 1 paper in Cincinnati,The Enquirer, and despite the fact that we have 10 months of live racing within the tristate area, not only are there not charts but zero coverage of horse racing. They have taken polls online and I know the Reds beat writer and no acknowledgement whatsoever. It's pathetic IMO.
