He is out due to ANOTHER domestic violence incident, that is correct.
The rumor has been that he was not going to be allowed back, but I saw a
Balmoral promo for Dec 28. They are having a young vs veteran driving contest, and he is listed as a participant. So who knows????
Illinois also suspended driver John Roberts for the remainder of 2013 for
assaulting another driver, Jason Brewer. Brewer also off for a while, suffering from broken bones...in his face. No action against him.
The word is Roberts has been told he will not be allowed back in Illinois.
Of course, as it stands there may not be harness racing in IL next year,
so it may not matter. But they are showing signs of a spine for the
first time.
