My closest neighbor has a loaded rifle propped by each side of his front door.
A .22 for small varmints and a 30-06 for larger ones. You can deem most anything here that gets in your garden a varmint and shoot it. I am sure if it was a deer and it wasn't hunting season you would need proof. For the record they sell items from their garden and greenhouse at the farmers market. I consider having a couple rifles by the front door definitely white supremacist redneck Trumper behavior, clutching his guns and a Bible.
At least my guns are a fair 30 feet from the front door in the bedroom, loaded rifles in the closet and a .357 revolver in the chest of drawers


As for my gun clutching neighbor he is not how he seems, he is an atheist Democrat. Someday I hope that 30 feet to the front door goes back to 45.
The 30 feet is from cutting through a torn out bathroom, including the wall separating it from the living room.

Amazes me too. He did not often come in second in the polls and primaries, he came in 5,6 or 7 sometimes.

The only thing I can think of is he said something about reevaluating Social Security. Or maybe he was just campaigning too long.

The difference is not ideas or policy, it is presentation. DeSantis is boring.


The same difference between Clinton/0bama and Biden. Biden is a terrible speaker and boring. The only reason people watch him is to see him screw up and walk around like he is lost.
