I've had the same problem. Seems related to logon time. Happens when I've been logged in over 4 or 5 hours. Now I make sure I logout/login ever 4 hours so it doesn't happen.

Keeneland select who I was told is a twinspires affiliate, has the old twinspires wagering menu. It seems to be an alternative to ones that liked twinspires before they changed the interface.

The Keeneland Select site looks pretty slick.
Problem is, they are affiliated with Twinspires. I'm not one to reward bad behavior, so they won't be getting my business.

Twinspires allow you to cash out what you've deposited in just 4 days
TVG makes you wait 7 days
IIRC the others are 7 days too
they don't need to hold your money that long - this is 2019
I believe they're doing it to try to influence you to bet what's in there instead of waiting

The deposit hold has nothing to do with ADWs actually and more to do with our antiquated banking systems that have no idea the difference between our industry and casino/fixed odds.
When you make an ACH deposit most ADWs for most players instantly credit that amount to allow you to wager. That is in effect a no interest loan as the ADW does not actually get the ACH amount for many days. Some are 4 days (us and tws it looks like) others are 7 days.
This is because banks for no good reason hold any funds transferred to a "gambling" company for a period of time.
If the ADWs allow you to pull that money before they have confirmation of the deposit scammers quickly figure that out and target that system. They start using stolen identities to sign up, make bad deposits and withdrawal before settlement.
Depending on the systems the ADW has in place this may or may not succeed.
I do not know exactly what others use but we have multiple identity checks, fraud checks and other systems in place to ensure integrity of transactions which is part of why we have a lower hold time than most.

I visited your site and looked at the promo - the sign up bonus
your site will not allow place and show wagers to be considered to earn the bonus
that is the most restrictive bonus offer I've ever seen
some sites do not allow show wagering but I've never seen a site not allowing place wagering to be considered
you are requiring players to accept more risk to earn their bonus than any other U.S. site that I've seen

Reason: because I don't understand what came before the big bang

I was trying to explain a common issue between all ADWs that seems extremely misunderstood.
On the issue you brought up, we are currently looking at all of that. That is the most I will say in this thread.

The question is: Which legal ADW will move boldly into the 21st Century and permit Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals, thus allowing virtually instant wagering after depositing?

The key word is "legal". Bovada is one of the many offshore sites that accepts American customers in at best a grey area legally. There is absolutely no guarantee that deposits are kept segregated on these sites and they have little or no regulation. I have been privately messaged, however, that there is at least one American state regulated site that does accept Bitcoin.
I'll let the him reveal the site if he chooses to do so. Hopefully, I'm very wrong and there are others or will be others in the near future.

Same problem here. Seems to occur about halfway through a day's card. I submit a wager and wait and wait. The wager is not accepted and I then have to resort to the same as Thaskalos described in his post.

Would normally be mad but I can't help but laugh at how bad this new platform is. I stopped betting on horses because of the huge change in odds past post. To be fair, I also stopped putting in the work to be a winning player.
That said, this time I simply CAN'T even bet with the money in my account. The platform won't even change tracks.

BTW, in case anybody didn't know (and I'm not sure if it's been posted elsewhere, if so, my bad), but TS has restored the express pro and classic UIs.
