I didn’t have a reader myself but spent many hours in the library using there’s. I came back east after my military time thinking i was the sharpest guy betting at charles town. I wasn’t.

At least you were doing the work.....And that puts you ahead of the great majority that didn't...Stayin' ahead of the curve has always been the answer.

nostalgic
learned the Form at 8? years old...
didn't start handicapping and trying to win until about 12 years old or so... Trying to help my father... Also introduced to the idea of information and connections... Walked over to the paddock and a lady in a nice dress pointed out her horse and told me he was good, and the horse happened to win, which helped my father out of a losing day.
always the paper form. Sometimes had it a day in advance...
always the little race-track pencils

The little box full of them sitting on the DRF stand - FREE!
I think I still have a few in my drawer.

I have maybe 'one' somewhere in a drawer.
It's way too small, but still fun to use once in a blue moon.

I never went that far, but years ago when I used to go to Saratoga for a week with my girlfriend, I used to put a limit on how much luggage she could take because I needed room for about 6 months of back DRFs in the trunk.
It's a miracle she didn't tell me to go F myself.

Good thing you never mend with andicap - he took 4-5 trees with him to make paper for his printouts!

You better have it in hand or on your mobile device if you come to Churchill because the Form is nowhere to be seen there, they have gone exclusively to Brisnet.

Amazing how two outfits run by morons go out of their way to inconvenience the people who are their customers.

I was there in June and the hotel I was staying blocked DRF website on their business center computers. I definitely brought this to their attention

Was the Brisnet website accessible on the hotel's computers?

I doubt this was intentional unless CD owned the hotel. I suspect the router at the hotel also had security features that automatically blocked gambling sites. It picked up drf as a gambling site, but probably read brisnet as just a data source (if bris was accessible).

I have some copies dating back to 1977.
If it wasn't 107 in my garage, I'd dig them out to see the price.
I will when it cools down.
I'll scan and post image
