Today was the first time that I have been able to watch any part of the press conferences. In my opinion, Trump would be better off he just left it to Pence. Pence was who he appointed to be the lead on COVID-19 and he does a good job in his role, at least as far as I can tell. Regardless of whether one thinks the press is being fair or not, Trump quickly loses control of the room, which is a bad look for a president. Pence is a smooth operate who can take care of this business for the country and lave the Prez to other important tasks.

Really?
Didn't see the PC today, but read somewhere that Trump recommended that the public wear masks of some sort to cover their mouths. He then went on to say that he wasn't likely to do so himself. What an ass!!!
He probably thinks the mask might make him look like the bandit
some of us already know too well that he is. Unreal...........

The only thing a mask will do is help prevent you from touching your face. If you need that kind of crutch, go for it.

So, doctor, airborne droplets from a cough or sneeze cannot be a factor?

Your sources and your understanding of their words leave a lot to be desired. Trump was talking about the CDC's recommendation and/or guidance, regarding the use of masks. "A voluntary public measure." Nothing was set in stone!
Quote:
Trump’s remarks at Friday’s briefing also made clear the guidance applied broadly across the country, with a special emphasis on those in the most affected areas. The guidance posted on the CDC website states:
“CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.” (The Washington Post)

For someone not treating patients with COVID-19? That is true -- NOT a factor -- says Dr. Dave Price of Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, who is currently on the front lines treating COVID-19:
I encourage you to watch the entire thing. But he answers the mask question directly starting at around the 9:40 mark.
That's where I got my post from...wear a mask if it will help you to not touch your face. And it will also protect you in the .000000000001% chance you happen to be standing inches from someone with COVID who sneezes directly on you while shaking your hand and kissing you on the cheek.

This virus couldn't be any better for the left.
Everything they threw at him...from Russia to Ukraine...from bus tapes to Anavatti....nothing worked....but then....
THE VIRUS!
Originating from a country Trump has been at a virtual war with from the beginning, no less.
- Trump brags on job numbers?
- Trump brags on stock market?
- Trump brags on manufacturing?
- Trump brags on these things at massive campaign rallies?
It took NUKES in the end...but hey...Nancy saw this all coming...who knew the below video would be totally appropriate only a few short months later?
