Not surprised. Very many Latinos who are here legally and have gone through the prescribed process resent their "cousins" who don't want to play by the same rules they did. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that playing by double standards is inherently unjust.

McSally, who campaigned away from Trump like a good GOP phony, was leading by many when the polls closed on Election Night. She lost when a large swath of votes out of Democrat heavy districts outside of Phoenix were later 'counted'.
Four-of-the-5 incumbent GOP congressmen in California all lead on Election Night's end, but still lost when Democrat controlled districts also counted 'all' the votes.
Someday the GOP will learn how Democrats truly view democracy and the sanctity of elections but I won't bet on it. It could be too late, anyway.
