I believe you are dead wrong. The farthest thing from the Founders' mind was a Welfare State or Nanny State that would smother the People to death with its over-bearing, self-righteous, holier-than-thou, know-it-all ways. Unlike you, they didn't see the state as the answer for all the People's problems. Conservatives and the Founders have this in common: LIMITED GOVERNMENT. This is precisely why Obama hated the Constitution because it restricts government's powers. He understood that the less power the state has, the more power/freedom the People have. There is an inverse proportional relationship.

Quit projecting...even though it makes you feel good and sends tingles up your leg.

Those that live in glass houses shall not cast stones. You constantly accuse others and put them down for the exact behavior you exhibit. Can you seriously not see yourself in the mirror?
This fits you like a glove:
Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.
I am not a psychologist or play one on TV, just something I studied in Psych 101 on college.

If you can stomach it, do yourself a favor and read some of the "Religious" threads, and then understand why I joked with boxcar about his self-righteousness.
Read what he says about killing infants.

Back in the day, if you didn't pull your own weight, the FF would open the large gate, show you out out, and say,"Good bye and good luck. Watch out for the bears."

Too bad the slaves that those freedom-lovin' founding fathers owned weren't part of this whole liberty thing.

Oh c'mon now......you know how it goes.
"but those were different times back then"
Until you bring up military assault firearms.
"Arms are arms, goddamit -and we got the right to bear 'em"
Commonly known as selective interpretation of constitutional history.

When you say stuff like the bolded above people immediately dismiss you because you are attempting to frame an argument on a false premise.
