IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Check out the TEAM SIGN-UP thread so you know exactly who is on your team.

2. Communicate with your teammates to arrive at your concensus selections for the contest.

3. Only one post allowed per team. Appoint one player to post on behalf of the entire team. All eight races must be posted at the same time.

4. Coupled entries are considered one betting interest.

5. Once posts are made they may not be changed.

6. Posts must be made one full minute prior to the official DRF "off time".

7. Teams that fail to post on time will only be scored on races run one full minute after their post.

8. All games this season will be scored as "open competitions" with no Divisional matchups.

9. Two options for posting selections:

3 Selection Method

3 – 7 – 4 (12 – 8)
top 3 picks with the alternates being 12 & 8 in that order.
Team would receive $6.00 payouts for #3; $4.00 payouts for #7; and $2.00 payouts for #4 for Win/Place/Show (assuming no scratches)
Team would receive $3.00 Exacta Box Payout using #3, #7 & #4

2 Selection Method
3 – 3 – 7 (4 – 12) top 2 picks with the alternates being 4 & 12 in that order.
Team would receive $6.00 payouts for #3; $4.00 payouts for #3; and $2.00 payouts for #7 for Win/Place/Show (assuming no scratches)
Team would receive 4 x $3.00 Exacta Ticket with 3-7
and 2 x $3.00 Exacta Ticket with 7-3

Please post your weekly selection similar to the Example below:

Team 35: Team Zenyatta

Event 1: 5-1-4 (6-9)
Event 2: 2-4-1 (8-11)
Event 3: 1-5-4 (6-2)
Event 4: 9-9-10 (1-6)
Event 5: 1-2-9 (3-8)
Event 6: 4-8-9 (1-7)
Event 7: 5-5-6 (3-1)
Event 8: 3-4-10 (7-5)

Simple and neat please.

Note: Races 4 and 7 used the 2 Selection Method where the top number is listed in the 1st and 2nd position and will receive extra credits for Win/Place/Show and be on top of 4 of the 6 Exacta tickets.

Note: This is an Example only - not the actual Picks for Team 35

Note: Each team will be assigned a Team Number once entries close.

You have the wrong post times (EST) for events 3 and 4. Event 3 is supposed to go off at 6:09pm (EST) and Event 4 is slated to go off at 5:49pm (EST). Currently events 5 and 6 would go off before those 2. Not sure if want them to go in order or not.

Hold it. Now I am confused.

Are we using the Event numbers posted officially by Track Collector in post 4 or the ones posted by Pat in post 7?

In effect, what are the correct Event numbers and the tracks that they are aligned witn??

People who are NOT Trotter, TC or PA need to quit posting suggested races and/or corrected anything. Striker made an observation; let the people running the contest post any corrections and clarifications.

In addition, as picks need to be in before the first race that is the only start time that really matters.

I believe he's just stating the obvious. If people start posting different schedules, there would be hell to pay if participants were listing their choices based on different lists. How would anyone score such a situation????

Corrected Week#2 Schedule

Hello everyone,

The schedule in post#4 has been revised for the correct projected race post times. I mistakenly used the (local) times for the FG07 and OP07 races, instead of converting them to Eastern Time.

There have been NO changes to the tracks/race numbers that will be used for the contest.

Thanks for letting me know.
