I'm not sure what the answer is there about how to get updated data. You'd have to ask Ellis on that one, or whoever you purchase the charts files from.

I just manually adjust when I see stuff here. I'd never know when to look for updated data, let alone actually get it.

This weekend has been a disaster at Belmont, more problems Saturday (race 10 at least, maybe more) and at least one ridiculous time on the screen today. I'd recommend using Trakus times for all the races this week at Belmont to be safe.

You can add Race 8 today at Belmont to this issue.

All corrections flow through to the physical chart as well as to all downstream customers who use the data to create PPs and products, so they will reflect in any future PP lines.

CJ a question or 2,3,4:

1) How often are results adjusted?

2) What has been the longest wait time a result was changed? (2 days, month, week)

3) Do you get "NOTICES" if a result was changed?

4) Do you let your customers in on changes?

1) I would say any time an error is discovered.

2) I honestly don't know, but generally it is pretty quick. I've seen a few slip by for a few months but that is really rare.

3) I do, yes, as part of my DRF job.

4) No, but we change the figures as soon as we know and customers certainly get those.

The Rivers Memories first quarter was not 22 and change. Just awful.

The Trakus times for that race are much more reasonable.

What source do DRF and Brisnet use for their data? Is it Trakus or do they use the timing from whichever race track the race was run at?

All PP providers use Equibase as the data provider. Equibase uses whatever is the official provider for the track. At NYRA that is Teletimer, so that is what they use.

I think the only tracks left using Trakus officially are Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita.

I personally think that all tracks should either have GPS (charts) or Trakus (charts) installed so that it might be easier for everyone to have accurate times and lengths

Not saying that all charters and/or timers are wrong it just would be nice to see at every track even the ones we don't hear much talk about (smaller meets or "bull ring" tracks)
