GP Race 8 WTF??

I don't think that I've ever seen a race like this. A ton of late money knocks the fave down to 1-5. The 9 (2nd choice) blows by him and looks like a sure winner. Then the 9 takes three awful steps near the rail and then almost winds up drifting up into the grandstand. And, of course, the 1-5 wins. What a game.

That was very strange, I don't think anything duplicitous, just that the horse-took a bad step? was juiced too much to the gills? Probably the former, hope the horse is OK.

Blinkers off and Juarez did him no favors off the turn with two right hand cracks of the whip forcing him into the rail. That's a tough spot to go to the whip as they bend off the turn and straighten out. The horse seemed a little shaken up after that. He is still young and inexperienced. As far as the bolting to the outer rail, I don't have much of an explanation for that.
