Bridgejumpers Gone
Does anybody else seem to think that the bridgejumpers at Mountaineer, Charlestown, and Prairie Meadows have disappeared?
I got sacked by ADW this week and wondered if the ADW's cleaned up their accounts and got rid of all the people who "take advantage of the current parimutuel system".
I understand, they make the rules, and can do what they want. But, they really should not take the bets if they are just going to can you for making them.

I never understood why people bet dollars to win dimes.

Because great players in Wall St are extremely successful getting the same percentage in 2 years.

the anti bridgjump payoffs have been pretty lousy as a whole. i have no idea why a group of people would bet the so cal one today, but i do understand why the money came in against him. i guess the reason why i have been seeing such rotten payoffs is because the money on the bridgejump horse has no solid reason to get bet to begin with.

I suspect there are more 'anti-bridge jumpers' correcting the pools before the off, so that it is more difficult to get $10+ pay-offs when the jumper misses.

They're investing a lot more than 2 dollars.

Yesterday, in the opener at Finger Lakes, there was over 91K wagered on Brewing to show. He crushed on a big class drop. I have a feeling they will be pouring the money in on Breakin The Fever in today's 7th race.

aside from you being a tremendous announcer, you also have some great intuition!

I just went to the chart of his last 2 races and the total WPS pools were not that large, 64k and 54k respectively.

Thanks Lambo for the compliment. So much for the intuition as the race is down to 4 horses killing the show pool. With the way this season is going I should have shown the intuition to predict the scratch.

Yes the TVG guy called it a minor Bridge Jumper. A 29 to 1 shot payed $34 to show. $24 on 21 to 1 shot. Not sure that is a "minor" bridge jumper. I did not look at the show pool.
