Feel sorry for the man. He has been riding well the last couple of years, but his demons were too hard to overcome.

I met him briefly one time at a charity event. I hate to hear this. If he's found guilty, he may be in beyond his racing days. If he did it, I hope they do lock him up.

The horse Desormeaux was supposed to ride in the Pegasus today finished third at 26.5/1... as the 4th favorite! Not often the fourth favorite is 26.5/1.

He choked whoever it was to cause enough esophageal damage to make her end up in the hospital for emergency treatment. He is toast. He threw it all away after he started coming around last year. There isn't room for him anymore as he is a loose cannon.

In '11 entered a guilty plea for hitting a security guard at Saratoga with his own car
'16 checked into rehab 1 week after Preakness and only stayed 8 days to return to riding (should have stayed longer)
'20 suspended for 15 days by CHRB after using a racial slur at Black cameraman; checked into long-term rehab in Pasadena later on
