At the station where I buy gas, the price has been stable for weeks. Whether Ida will cause a bump in prices is something we will have to see.

dang, that Russian invasion causing the gas increase has been going so long .... why did it take until a few weeks ago before the media told us about it?

I never understood those people short on funds back in the day always driving around on fumes, buying 1/4 tank at a time.

Not hard to understand. If buying more than a quarter tank doesn't leave you enough money for groceries, it's a no brainer.

You are still spending the same amount on gas monthly, and if you run a tank too low you are risking sucking up the crap that accumulates on the bottom of the tank. That can lead to expensive repairs.
