Does Mendelssohn change leads down the stretch?

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but it's hard for me to tell. Does Mendelssohn change leads down the stretch? I remember a couple of years ago I read that a lot of european horses are not trained to do so. It was one of the main reasons I downgraded Mubtaahij in the Derby and following races.

I don't think they care much about leads in European racing as they do here.

Yes, he did. About two strides before the 300 meter mark he switched to his right lead and stayed on it to the wire.
