You wouldn't touch him with a 10 ft pole but......... "this field is weak". So, who do you like to beat him ? And what does future book odds have to do with betting him saturday or his chances in The Derby ?

If he wins Saturday by a pole against a this weak field and runs a high beyer # the suckers will be all over him in pool 2.And he will be the NOW horse.
Alpha is another horse who has sucked up huge money in pool 1 and he has zero chance to win the derby.

So, beating two fields by open lengths and getting big Beyers in both wins, means the horse is a sucker bet after that ???
Hmmmmm

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll tell us who he liked after the race.

All of a sudden it's a weak field. Can you tell me who's beaten a strong field this year? (and what made the field strong?)
So, if he wins, he's a bum because he beat a weak field....and if he loses...of course, he's a bum because he lost to a weak field. So I guess we can expect you here to gloat whatever the outcome of the race is.

Luckily for me, I know a lot more about the NBA and horse racing than the NFL. I'll know what you are good at when you post your first pre-race or pregame opinion. We already know about horse racing.

As usual, his imagination and bullshit is getting the best of him here.
He predicted the horse would be dropped to 5k claimers after his "play of the year" was up the track. No prediction he would win on that drop. The horse was dropped to 8k claimers (not 5)and BEFORE the race he was nowhere to be found. Was probably too busy threatening me via pm to various people.
But, true to form, AFTER the race he showed up.
Bigshot couldn't even pony up a measely $200 to a charity, but he wants to put people up in condos if they are in Tampa. You can't make stuff like this up if you tried.

Time to move.

Seems like he lost the day you picked him, then you never mentioned it again, until of course after the next race.

Dismissing him as off-track only based on the fact that he didn't win his other races is just the kind of simple-minded analysis that makes me hopeful we might actually get more than even money on Saturday. His fast track efforts both yielded huge late pace figures and he was beaten less than a length in each. One, a sprint that was probably just a bit too short for him, and the other a G2 race where he was closing fast on the winners.
There is no doubting that he enjoys off tracks, which to me is a positive for his derby prospects if you look at the track conditions in KY the past 5 derbies. But his pedigree is hardly screaming for mud with Pulpit running at 17% and Giants Causeway 16%. These are both somewhat above avg numbers, but nothing like Bernardinis 23%.
I'm the last person on earth to get behind a Derby horse this early in the season, there is still a lot of racing to be done and much left to see. But this horse is only going to get better as the races get longer. He is the most promising prospect I've seen so far for 1.25 miles.

Going to go with Shared Property in the Risen Star. Really like the work that Amoss has put into him since the Lecomte and he obviously needed that last race.
