That has to happen in no more than a week's time. What are the chances of that?
After that, how are you going to go back to work if there is no work to get back to?
You can't just force-stop somebody's business for a lengthy period of time and expect it to all be fine and dandy once the all-clear bell rings....especially when the force-stop comes with little or no warning.

ultimately, i believe the S+P will be below 800, maybe in 50 years it will get to 100,000. in this game nothing goes straight up or straight down.
this country is busted, disgusted and can't be trusted. i would love to see how they bail all these business's and people out, at the same time come up with all the money to beat this virus.
Italy had 475 deaths from the corona today, in about a month we will have ten times that .

I'm actually starting to get a feeling like this isn't going to turn out as badly as I've been saying all week.
I don't know why...I just have that feeling.
There's already talk about a drug cocktail that has cured people. Who knows...maybe they take that ball and run with it and end all this madness soon then we think.
With all that said, futures are getting hammered again tonight and VIX futures are headed back to 80...

Go buy tonic water with quinine in it....and go to the doc and a get a z/pac script...now you can self medicate for CV.....viola...
for those more adventurous souls....invest in those companies that make those products on the stock market...
thought I would post this in two spots...seems relevant in both..

when things look the worst, things turn around and get better. i don't think we are at that point yet unfortunately.

Adjuvants/catalysts work in mysterious ways in medicine, not fully understood. That's the best I can come up with.

Agreed. Anti-biotics will not help.
Now the anti-malaria drug that South Korea had been using, along with the Gilead drug in the pipeline that the FDA may fast track, that's a different story. I think we have reached peak fear yesterday. The world isn't going to end.

Today is looking like one of the first "semi-normal" days I've seen in the market in quite some time. Meaning, no crazy ups and downs so far...
I don't know if that means something, but it probably does...

Got out of most long term holdings in the stock market about 4 months ago. My reasoning was that the way Trump was being treated, and his strongest point was the economy, people would do anything to change it. Yesterday, I started buying oil.
