Gulfstream High 5 payout...?

Why did payout pay more than pool when there was no carry-over from previous race...?

"The Super High, also a low-cost bet, is based on the same basic concept as the jackpot Pick Six bets. Someone has to correctly pick the first five finishers across the wire in exact order. If they do so they collect, but the entire pool is only paid out if there is only one winner. If there are more multiple winners a portion of the pool goes into a carryover."

The payout paid more than the pool and there was no carry from the previous race.

$1 Super High Five $79,230.10 5-10-8-7-2 $50,643 Pool

Actually there was a 3 race carryover... races 2,4,5 all were not hit...

Race 3 did not offer the wager due to a 6 horse field... the charts failed to list the carryover for some reason from races 2,4,5

Thanks, strange that that they did not show the pools when not hit for those races.

You mean no one had 5 correct for those races 2,4,5 and race 3 didn't fill 7 spots to make it a go, and they only report the pool only when one or more people correctly have 5...?

That is exactly correct. If you notice the other super 5s pools They are much smaller. They usually do report the pools however, maybe they had some with different today?

Yes, you are right....its just alittle strange that the charts don't report the carryover at Gulfstream when THEY DO AT Santa Anita

https://www.equibase.com/static/char...A010618USA.pdf...

Also, what's the deal with no $1 Pick 6 Jackpot payout at Santa Anita today...Didn't any one or multiple tickets have 6 correct...they were mostly favorites and low priced horses....?

Jackpot only pays out with 1 ticket... if more than one, jackpot carries over.

So nobody had 6 winners today at Santa Anita for the $1 Pick 6 Jackpot bet...even though the winners were all very short prices...?

r9 $4.80
r8 $8.00
r7 $6.60
r6 $12.80
r5 $2.40
r4 $6.60

I thought that something like 70% of the pool went to any tickets with 6 and paid everything in the case of just 1.

wow...!!

Pay attention... jackpot only pays if 1 single ticket is sold on winner...

If you look at the link you sent, there is a 6 of 6 pick six pay off listed

It was a simple question he asked with a "?" attached

Perhaps your responses could be worded the right way the first time and not come back swinging with a "pay attention" sarcastic comment
