Turf Racing and Pace

If and when they ever get my computer hooked up in the place I living at now and get some of the gambling sites I need to access up , I plan on looking at pace in turf mile and mile and 1/16 race. Laying in bed with nothing to got me to thinking about some things. Now that turf races make up so many races on a card and some jockeys ride in dirt race like they do in turf races, I decided to take a look at their numbers and style. I have found very little written on the subject, so perhaps a look might be profitable.
P.S It looks like I will stuck in long term nursing home care for quite awhile. Hopefully this interfere to much with posting as it has in the recent past. Robert Goren

Good to see you back, Bobby.
Good topic for discussion, too.

I agree with you when you say that many jockeys ride on the turf course as they ride on the dirt.

I would like to also add that many handicappers handicap the turf races as they handicap on the dirt, too!

Glad to see you are back, Robert.

Break it down into distances and you'll very quickly see there are good plays on turf. And when you find what you are looking for, do not publish it.

Think there is something to hyper specializing...without it, racing becomes a type of Rubrics Cube that one does not know how to solve...going about it willy nilly come what may form in hand 15 minutes of capping prior to the race IS NOT the way to proceed...it requires a whole shift in mentality.

One must train ones self...hard to accept but...the horses train...we must also.

It is a massive step to go from a vertical wagerer to a horizontal one alone...requires forethought, planning, money management. This alone is difficult. It is EASIER to bet race by race vertically but less.....

The more categories broken out the better...you begin to know the horses and their peculiar capabilities versus their peers in their distinct categories....
