I could have a warrant out for my arrest in California because I threw my summons in the trash. Cali used to allow self employed people who it would cause an economic hardship to be excused by mail. When they stopped doing that I started throwing the summons away. Right at the time I tossed the last one a Riverside County judge said he was going to randomly issue arrest warrants for the next group of no shows to make an example out of them.
My personal opinion is we should have professional jurors, so we don't have top notch high dollar lawyers stacking juries against lower level ones. Like OJ's lawyers did to LA County.
