If it does everything they showed in the vid——-it will be well worth it. I’m skeptical on performance. But if it lives up to it, it could replace a bunch of shit in the future. Including tv’s-computer monitors- movie theaters and more

Think of it as not virtual reality for gaming , but for computing.
Get rid of your tv-computer monitor and movie theaters go out of business.

Yup. Movie theaters will go out of business...because we will be able to carry a huge immersive theater screen with us wherever we go. I can picture it now...and I weep for the future.

I go to the movie theater about once every five years. I would rather stay at home and watch the 120 inch screen at home. I did go see Top Gun Maverick in the fancy theater. It has to be a special film to get me into a theater.
If this vision pro gets down in price it could hurt movie theaters big time.

It might be just me, but wearing those bulky goggles for hours at a time would ruin the experience for me.

I think there is a good chunk of the population...both young and old...who will never want to walk around with this thing on their head for any significant amount of time...so...I think this will always be a niche product until they can find a way to implant this in your head...lol
