Mage wasn't winning the Belmont.

I was rooting he'd win the Preakness in order to overlay the entire field in the Belmont.

Shit field in the Preakness, a really good horse would have won by 10.

What I said was "God I hope everyone thinks like you." It is clear you didn't understand what I meant. If no one is betting Mage on top then my payouts are much higher. Why would I want to hit the super thinking it was going to pay $80 and then have it only pay $50 because everyone else bet it also. If you think that is ripping on you then so be it, but it wasn't. I rarely post in the horse racing section, so when you say I have ripped on you before I think you have me confused with someone else or for some reason you take things I post the wrong way. It is never meant to be ignorant towards you or anyone else I respond to.

I will give you an example of what I meant. About 30 years ago I saw a horse at Turfway, a maiden race with a 12 horse field. I thought this horse couldn't lose, guess what his morning line odds were? That's right, 30-1. I was going to put 200 to win. Now I thought he would wind up going off around 8 or 10-1. The horse went of at 4-5 and won easily. Needless to say I didn't bet it I was so pissed.

Your attack "you really nailed it" possibly tells me everything about you and I will leave it at that. Then again maybe I am wrong and you are just having a bad day and made the comment out of frustration. Everyone says things they shouldn't. Never no hard feelings on my part, take care!

I wouldn’t say it was a bad ride . He’s in touch of a pedestrian pace . Three horse race and he was the one that came up empty. Bearing in, tired, ridden out to wire . It just further proves many of these horses can’t handle the two weeks turn around. The trainers know it but the winner of the Derby is almost always the one that shows up to chase Triple Crown glory . He looked gassed in the stretch .
